About

I am a nephrologist and epidemiologist with a research interest in biomarkers. I study novel urine and serum biomarkers and their utility in identifying progressive kidney disease and incident cardiovascular disease. I am also interested in the role of biomarkers for improving our knowledge of the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of renally excreted drugs, to improve dosing and preventing drug interactions and drug related adverse.

My hope is that these will help with better prediction of outcomes, and provide opportunities for earlier interventions to reduce adverse clinical events.

My clinical interests include metabolic bone disease, kidney stones and polycystic kidney disease.
